Backed up by Jamie Hewlett's death wish character on bass, Cibo Matto 's Miho Hatori (Noodle) on guitar and occasional hyperactive vocals, and produced by Dan "The Automator" Nakamura , it's hardly surprising that Gorillaz is marked both by a sense of playfulness and a passion for experimentation. Make sure by asking that you will get exactly this release which is much more rare as the 2015 release. one of the most acclaimed concept albums of all time, 'the wall' from 1979 is renowned as roger waters' rock opera dealing with.But the surprises do not stop there: Ibrahim Ferrer 's appearance on "Latin Simone" could have come straight from Buena Vista Social Club but for the obvious Blur-influenced piano style, while the spooky intro to "M1 A1" wouldn't sound out of place on Michael Jackson's Thriller . I would highly recommend this album as not only is it, (For me) A golden album but also came in tip top shape. The most striking tune, however, is the simple Beach Boys/Polyphonic Spree-lite of 'Don't Get Lost In Heaven', which is typical of Albarn's experimental attitude. It's relaxing in places (Every Plant We Reach Is Dead), childlike (Kids With Guns, Dirty Harry), or out-doing Morcheeba (November has Come). I do notice the records are a bit thicker then other vinyls I have, maybe this has something to do with it?
