Still, most readers will be eager to learn more about Mieruko's daily happenings, to see why these monsters are visible solely by her, and to discover whether she'll ever be able to experience a normal life. The Godmother initially tests a cheap prayer bead on Miko in an effort to scam her but realizes Miko is haunted when the prayer bead breaks, and she can see the faint shape of a ghost behind Miko. Usually when we have a Slice of Life series, they are mostly either Romance, Drama, or Comedy driven n at times a mix of all those elements.
