About this deal

This album collects his productions featuring the group, mainly featuring Pat Kelly on lead vocals; What Am I To Do, Man Of My Word, Time Has Come, as well as Dave Barker's solo gem Your Love Is A Game two tracks from The Shades and three from The Madlads. They featured Keith Emerson on a flying piano and Carl Palmer’s revolving, 2 ton, stainless steel drum kit. By 1969 many of his protégés had gone on to stardom in their own right as members of Led Zeppelin, the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Deep Purple or as solo artists.

The long awaited Double CD to accompany the book of Roy Goldring's Leaflet Dances with the same name. Some of the tracks appear on the “Royal Flush” album (Which was the band’s name later on) but “Get It Off My Conscience” “Joy Trip” etc were never released. Wanted a DVD for our 2yr old grandson who loves dancing and marching and copying the other children. The late Winston Riley formed the Techniques in 1962 and remained a member of the group throughout their career.

All the group members were well known in their own right with TONY BURROWS having sung lead vocal on “Love Grows” EDISON LIGHTHOUSE (1970 UK number 1), WHITE PLAINS UK 1970 Top 10 hit single “My Baby Loves Loving” and also as THE PIPKINS “Gimme Dat Ding” – UK 1970 number 6.We hope that you all enjoy the album, and that it brings back some good memories of festivals passed.
