About this deal

It contains previously unknown secrets of the band, such as future plans of the movie, new and rare art by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett, the "low down" on Kong Studios, their headquarters, and the story of the truth behind the " El Mañana" video. Signed by Cass and Hewel, with the original fake library pouch~~VG+/VG 1st ed 2006 hardback, unclipped DJ. While they could have gone and made a quick small book with existing artwork, they laboured in creating a genesis of a band showcasing every little minute detail in their lives to the present.

Rise of the Ogre is the autobiography of Gorillaz, written by Cass Browne and illustrated by Jamie Hewlett and Zombie Flesh Eaters. Initially an iTunes exclusive, one part was released every week for four weeks beginning 4 December 2006. Bits like this help you enjoy this book twice as much as if you would only see it as one or the other.Featuring brand new art from and designed by Jamie Hewlett, this is the full story of Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle and Russel Hobbs for the first time. However, the audiobook remains incomplete, as only the first few chapters of the book were ever narrated. surface tear to lower front edge of DJ, a little surface rubbing wear and discoloration to edge and top of spine of DJ, some rubbing and light scratches to jacket, internally VG and unmarked. But remember you love Kermit the Frog and Gonzo for them, not because it's Jim Henson and Frank Oz moving them.

The original idea for the book was to be a compilation of all press interviews with Gorillaz from phases one and two. It covers the band from 2000 and their first EP, Tomorrow Comes Today through their 2006 tour ending at the Apollo Theater. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. With track by track analyses of their two albums, all of their performances, and even a section on why '23' pops up so much, this is a must have book for all REAL Gorillaz fans. It's really a piece unlike any other and it is such a shame there's no sequel (even if the Gorillaz Almanac seems to be in a somewhat similar vein). It has the back stories of all the members and how they came together, and glimpses of the possible future of the band. As a long time fan of Gorillaz, I enjoy watching, listening, and reading anything they come up with.
