About this deal

Each episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold features the main character (Batman) teaming up with other characters from the DC Universe to thwart villains or to solve crimes, the show focusing mainly on the inclusion of lesser-known characters.

The first comes from Batman - One Bad Day: The Riddler's creative team, Tom King and Mitch Gerad, as they begin a four-part story about the first "bloody clash" between the Joker and Batman. Charge of the Army Eternal – After teaming up with Hourman to defeat the Calculator, Batman and Kid Eternity team up to fight General Immortus (assisted by the western Royal Flush Gang). It becomes immediately clear that when taken away from the big hitters of the Teen Titans and Justice League, even C list super villains can be a terrifying force to the average person.

When Batman lists off the names of Joker’s victims and says he’ll repeat them every night, you believe him. Deidrich Bader, who voices Batman in this series, continues in the role to this day in the animated Harley Quinn. This was released for Free Comic Book Day of 2011 and contained an exclusive story "Let Me Tell You About Bruce Wayne". Overall, The Winning Card is a delightful yet terrifying story by Tom King that takes readers into the early days of Batman’s career and shows just how menacing The Joker truly is while laying the groundwork for what may be one of the best Batman and Joker stories we’ve ever seen brought to life by twisted noir like art that only Mitch Gerads could deliver. Unfortunately, the scientist's buddies have other plans to break the good doctor out of Iron Heights. In The Killing Joke, Joker’s joke is about two men who fail to escape the lunatic asylum because while one offers to shine a flashlight so his friend can cross the “beam”, the friend is afraid he will turn it off before he crosses.
