His daughter FLIPS out and refuses to talk to him for over half of the book, barring her children (including Teddy) from talking to him also.There are a lot of characters in the book, both in the family and outside, and some of them don't really become more than a name due to this (like Teddy's sisters, who it is hard to tell the difference between).

I've been following this book for sooooo long, and have become somewhat of a Twitter Stalker (only slightly) of Ryan Love, as he just seems to lovely, and I'm only like 82% jealous that he got a birthday message from the great Miriam Margolyes.
